 team. The goal of this webinar is to provide information about New Jersey'
 s thriving Self-Advocacy movement\, including monthly meetings and virtual
  events\, as well as a discussion of the various ways self-advocacy skills
  can benefit students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Pa
 rticipants will learn actionable ways to promote self-advocacy skills in t
 heir family homes\, classrooms\, and community programs. \n\nAbout the Pre
 senter: Ashley Ritchey\, MSW\, LSW\, is the Director of the New Jersey Sel
 f-Advocacy Project. Ms. Ritchey works closely with the leadership and memb
 ers of the largest self-advocacy organization in the state\, the New Jerse
 y Statewide Self-Advocacy Network. Ashley serves as an Advisor for local a
 nd regional Self-Advocacy groups throughout New Jersey and manages the Pro
 ject's daily virtual programming. She develops and presents interactive wo
 rkshops on a variety of topics related to legislative advocacy\, human rig
 hts\, healthy decision-making skills\, and voting.\n
